bbercik Posted October 26, 2004 Author Posted October 26, 2004 Here is a shorter link that will work too http://tinyurl.com/64spj Category is: Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosted_Components_and_Services/ Its been over a month since my last post and zip response. Can someone kindly provide a status update? Thank you very much. Regards, Bill Bercik WebPasties
gboisseau Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 It is currently waiting to be reviewed by a volunteer editor in: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosted_Components_and_Services
bbercik Posted November 10, 2004 Author Posted November 10, 2004 Does that mean that there is not currently an editor for that category and that it is waiting for someone to volunteer for that category? Thanks, Bll
dogbows Posted November 10, 2004 Posted November 10, 2004 No, it just means it is waiting for one of many volunteers who can edit in that category to decide to review it.
bbercik Posted November 10, 2004 Author Posted November 10, 2004 Thanks for clarifying that. -Bill Bercik

Editall/Catmv arubin Posted May 11, 2005 Editall/Catmv Posted May 11, 2005 I see no change of status of that suggestion. Another suggestion of your site, to a completely different category, has been deleted. You may ask again in another 6 months.
bbercik Posted May 11, 2005 Author Posted May 11, 2005 Thanks a lot Mr. Soup Nazi, How bout if I give up on this editor. And actually, I'd like to give up on this whole piece of crap communist process. I'll spend my time, energy, and money on Google Adwords or use Wikipedia, Looksmart or anything rather than this crappy broken system. I know you want to complain how I mixed metaphors with Nazi and Communist or how you are an elitist volunteer and should settle for nothing but praise for your tireless effort. You can respond to me in 6 months.
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted May 11, 2005 Editall/Catmv Posted May 11, 2005 You're perfectly welcome to use other promotional methods. But I'm not one of the editors who could approve your listing -- I just happened to be only when you posted your status requres.
Meta hutcheson Posted May 11, 2005 Meta Posted May 11, 2005 The system isn't really broken. It's designed that way, to not do what you want. But the practical difference is minor, and your solution is the same: since (as you know) there are many other systems that do a very good job of it, we leave it to them, and recommend them to you.
