jimnoble Posted September 23, 2004 Posted September 23, 2004 Not there I'm afraid and neither has any editor moved or declined it. I suggest you resubmit it. (If you want a job done properly, do it yourself )
roger hooper Posted November 6, 2004 Author Posted November 6, 2004 Can you please advise on progress for Grabar.co.uk registered with you from 23-09-04. Many thanks, Roger Hooper grabar.co.uk
jimnoble Posted November 6, 2004 Posted November 6, 2004 If you meant in the category mentioned above, you've never submitted it there. You did submit it to Business/Financial Services/Financial Consultants from where it was declined on the grounds that it didn't work.
roger hooper Posted November 6, 2004 Author Posted November 6, 2004 Hello Jim. You say our company web site was declined. grabar.co.uk-business-financial services-financial consultants. can you be more specific on the reason for being declined (that it didn't work). As we are financial consultants i have no idea why we have been declined or for that matter what to do next I hope you can help. Roger Hooper
djdeeds Posted November 7, 2004 Posted November 7, 2004 Umm, "didn't work" means just that. The editor tried to view the site and the site didn't work, wasn't up, didn't resolve, or had some sort of error.
Meta hutcheson Posted November 7, 2004 Meta Posted November 7, 2004 The next step would be to get a copy of a web-standards-compliant browser. And just look at what your website looks like from someone else's computer and browser. Bear in mind that ODP editors go to LOTS of malicious sites (how can we know beforehand) and therefore have to be very careful with system security (viruses, trojan horses, etc.) [it is a happy coincidence that the browsers that support web standards also support security. It is an unhappy result of malicious trade practice that the most-commonly-used internet-access code does neither.]
