Bernhard Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I submitted http://www.oceanedge.net about 4 months ago and then again 3 weeks ago to: Regional: North America: United States: Massachusetts: Counties: Barnstable: Business and Economy: Real Estate Could you please give me an update on the status. Thank you very much.
dogbows Posted September 29, 2004 Posted September 29, 2004 I can't give you an update, but I can make your category link compliant to forum guidelines, so another editor can provide the status. http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Massachusetts/Counties/Barnstable/Business_and_Economy/Real_Estate/
Bernhard Posted September 30, 2004 Author Posted September 30, 2004 Thank you very much for making my category link compliant to forum guidelines. Do I need to post a new thread to ask for the status? Thanks for your help with this.
dogbows Posted October 1, 2004 Posted October 1, 2004 No, by all means always stick to your original thread per forum guidelines, which it might be helpful if you read them. If you click on the FAQ at the bottom of my signature, you will find a lot of answers to your questions. I did forget to mention that the guidelines also require that you wait a minimum of 30 days from your most recent (not first) submission before asking for a status in the forum. Just bookmark this thread, and when the full month has passed bump it back up to the top with your request.
Bernhard Posted November 3, 2004 Author Posted November 3, 2004 Hi, I just want to follow up on the status of my submission for http://www.oceanedge.net.
jimnoble Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 What a coincidence that the Michael Leighton shown on http://www.oceanedge.net is the spitting image of the Michael Leighton shown on http://www.leightonrealty.com/ which amazingly is already listed in that same category. A realtor gets a maximum of one listing, however many domain names he owns. Please note my use of the word maximum .
Bernhard Posted November 4, 2004 Author Posted November 4, 2004 Dear jimnoble, As you mentioned in your post, both websites are owned by the same realtor. The reason why I submitted his second site http://www.oceanedge.net is that this site targets only one specific condominium complex. It gives all the info needed for ONLY this complex, whereas his other site http://www.Leighton Realty.com covers a very broad area of Cape Cod which covers multiple towns and everything from condominiums to houses, ... I hope you don't think I was trying to ignore the rules. I just thought that his new site is very useful for anyone who searches specifically for condominiums for sale in that specific resort. I appreciate your time and I hope you understand my point. Thanks in advance for your response. Bernhard
