Guest learning Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 I submitted the McGraw-Hill Learning Store (http://www.mhlearningstore.com) to Reference: Education: Products and Services: K through 12 (started with shopping but this is where it took me) in Sept. After 4 or 5 weeks when it didn't show up I wrote to some editors (starting with the category editor). Then I re-submitted a couple of times. I see by another thread I may have done myself more harm then good by re-submitting (apparently it drops to the bottom of the list again?). Is there anything that can be done to help us get the site listed, or should I just be patient? Thanks for any help. Sincerely, Frank B. McGraw-Hill Learning Store
totalxsive Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 I think you will just need to be patient. The site is waiting for review in http://dmoz.org/Reference/Education/Products_and_Services too - it was put there by an editor who was passing through in September. (if you're interested, I use a couple of McGraw-Hill books as part of my Computing degree)
Guest learning Posted January 23, 2003 Posted January 23, 2003 Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. And thanks for using McGraw-Hill books:-)
Guest learning Posted February 22, 2003 Posted February 22, 2003 Now that were approaching 6 months since my first submission of this site, I'm curious... How do I know I haven't either done something wrong in the submission, been deleted, or submitted to a category edited by someone working for our competition. About my last point (competition), I'm not accusing anyone, but I am wondering what happens if that occurs. Thanks for any help. Trying to be patient:-) Frank B. Meta hutcheson Posted February 22, 2003 Meta Posted February 22, 2003 As long as it's still in the queue, the problem is more likely uninterested editors than non-disinterested editors.
