Advice on apllication Status

On the 19th September, I applied to become a DMOZ editior, in the Top: Recreation: Food: Drink: Liquor: Absinthe category.

I used the name oxy or oxygenee - I can't remember which.

I received an acknowledgement of receipt of my application, but haven't heard anything at all since.

Not having heard anything, I tried to re-apply two days ago, and received an automated message saying I could only have one application outstanding at a time.

Is there anything I can do to find out the status of my application?

There is indeed an application dated 19th Septemberfor that category awaiting evaluation by a volunteer meta. It's not under either of those proposed editor names though. Despite that, it probably is you. I can only advise patience.

Thank you for your feedback. I must have used the name pernodfils, I think.

Is it possible to attach the following information to my application?

In my application, one of the websites I suggested for inclusion in the category was http://www.oxygenee.com .

At the time of my application, the primary title of this website was: "Oxygenee's Absinthiana". However, subsequent to my application, the name of the site has been changed to "The Virtual Absinthe Museum"

I wouldn't like my application to be rejected because it appears I'd provided the wrong title information for this website. At the time I submitted my application almost three weeks ago, the information I gave was correct.

I'd very much appreciate your help with this problem.

It's now a full month since I applied to become an editor, and I've not yet received any feedback. Is this normal?

How long might it still take for my application to be reviewed?

My initial application was on the 19th September, under the name pernodfils.

Your applications is still in the pile to be reviewed. There is no set time on how long an application will take to be reviewed. Could be 3 minutes, could be 3 months.

It's now coming up to two months since I applied to be an editor, and I've still not received an answer.

My concern is that my initial website descriptions may be outdated or inaccurate when they are evaluated, due to the time that has now elapsed since they were written.

Is there anything at all that can be done to speed up the processing of my application?
