MTBZ Posted October 19, 2004 Posted October 19, 2004 Could you please email me on the status of abuse report ID: aefd6d730d23ff0f3d1f1afa5900af9a If you could have the Meta incharge of the investigation contact me via email. I have a few things I need to add to the report. Thanks! JC JC@Mtbz.com
Meta windharp Posted October 20, 2004 Meta Posted October 20, 2004 You can check the status on http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ yourself - There is a "check status" feature at the bottom. We don't hand out any additional information that can't be seen there. If you like to add new information, submit a second report and include the ID of the first one. We will then be able to add the new information to the first report. Curlie Meta/kMeta Editor windharp
almogeh Posted October 20, 2004 Posted October 20, 2004 I would also like to inquire on the status of my abuse report:(8013946f9f3ab80f935621f0818ecfee) i made this report about two weeks ago,and it has since then been in "investigating" status... but today when i tried to check on its status,i got a blank page... may i know where it stands?
denisnelson Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 please read above ;-) http://report-abuse.dmoz.org/ works for me. |B) [spec op] [very slow typist]
MTBZ Posted October 22, 2004 Author Posted October 22, 2004 That's great and all, but I would like to know a little information on what's actually happening.
motsa Posted October 22, 2004 Posted October 22, 2004 If the investigating meta determines that you need to know any of the details of the result of the investigation, they will contact you. It is rare, though, that we are able to divulge such details. You will know when the investigation is complete by looking at the status per windharp's post (the system was temporarily unavailable earlier this week which is why people were getting blank pages but that has been fixed).
MTBZ Posted October 25, 2004 Author Posted October 25, 2004 Now the status says it is "new" again. This is why I would like to know what is going on.
thehelper Posted October 26, 2004 Posted October 26, 2004 The only information you will get about the status of your abuse report is available at the link that you have been given. As the meta editor who answered your question said if the meta editor who does the investigation feels you need to know something they will email you. This most likely will not happen though. Thanks and have a great day.
MTBZ Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 Wait times are between 2 hours and 2 years or more. I guess "humans don't do it better." :confuse2:
Meta pvgool Posted October 28, 2004 Meta Posted October 28, 2004 I guess "humans don't do it better." :confuse2: better is not the same as faster most of the times doing something fast is doing it worse I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.
MTBZ Posted November 10, 2004 Author Posted November 10, 2004 better is not the same as faster most of the times doing something fast is doing it worse How about just getting it done? I doubt it could be done "worse."
MTBZ Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 Isn't there anyway we can speed this up? There can't be that many abuse reports.
