Guest dougb Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 I submitted to dmoz on friday for: www.longdistance-phonerates.com However, the host automatically (supposedly) submitted this am.. Did that override my submission? If so, How can I remove the hosts submission and revert to my data I submitted? thanks dougb
motsa Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 In general terms (and assuming the first submission was still in unreviewed), the second submission would have overwritten the first one. In this particular case, though, it doesn't matter because the site in question is a Cognigen affiliate and won't be listed.
Guest NLCrane Posted February 23, 2003 Posted February 23, 2003 My business (PrioSoft... currently listed as Computers: Software: Business: Small Business [/color"] ) can be appropriately listed in several catgories (construction, building, auto sales, software, business) in the directory... How shall I submit those requests?
Guest Posted February 23, 2003 Posted February 23, 2003 >> My business ... can be appropriately listed in several catgories The site sells business management software for several business types, but it doesn't mean that the site should be listed in all categories covering these business types. That is, if you sell software for auto dealers, you get listed in /Software, not in /Auto_Dealers. Your listing in Computers/Software/Business/Small_Business/ is therefore the most appropriate. OTOH, since your site shows that your company is located in Baltimore, MD you are eligible for a listing in the corresponding Regional category. Feel free to submit there.
