David Taber Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Hi. I made a request that ANTs software be moved from its original (incorrect) category (supercomputers) to the database category a few months ago. Site: http://www.antssoftware.com/ DMOZ: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Databases/ Nothing happened, so I re-submitted a couple of months ago. Now the corporate site is gone from the supercomputer category, but it doesn't show up anywhere else. Did I do something wrong? Feel free to contact me directly if you need information.
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted October 27, 2004 Editall/Catmv Posted October 27, 2004 You're early -- we normally request you wait one month after your submission. The site is waiting for review in the new category.
David Taber Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 ANTs Software site status OK. I initiated the transaction more than a month ago, but it probably got into your queue after having been in the other category's queue for several weeks. I'll check back in a month.
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted October 27, 2004 Editall/Catmv Posted October 27, 2004 My mistake in misreading the date - but I gave you a status report anyway. The site is waiting for review in the category you prefer. Please don't ask again for 6 months.
David Taber Posted April 2, 2005 Author Posted April 2, 2005 Checking up on status -- 6 months later Hi. http://www.ants.com was submitted for the http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Databases/Middleware/ category. It still doesn't show up there. It's 6 months later, as you requested. Please let me know if there is some problem with the submission, or if there is any information you need from me to defend why ANTs' DBMS engine should be in the category. Thanks in advance for your response.
spectregunner Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 No, it has been five months and a few days since your last status check. Please don't waste our time with any more early requests. Thank you.
