guz843 Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 how come you have not changed out the bgraphics to macth the site? the blue icons just make it seem so amateur
bobrat Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 Thank you for your site review, but we are not Google.
motsa Posted October 31, 2004 Posted October 31, 2004 And we're not looking for critiques of this site. We'll fix the blue graphics when we get around to it.
guz843 Posted October 31, 2004 Author Posted October 31, 2004 sorry but i just cant stop branding.... besides you chaneged the colors so why not go all the way
donaldb Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 What blue graphics? What am I missing? Who changed what colours?
Meta shadow575 Posted November 1, 2004 Meta Posted November 1, 2004 Perhaps you are confusing DMOZ/ODP (http://www.dmoz.org) with TOD (http://www.theopendirectory.com)? TOD is using a blue colorway, but is not related to the ODP, DMOZ, or Resource-Zone in anyway other than mimicing DMOZ in apperance and using ODP data as far as I know. Editall Callimachus Posted November 1, 2004 Editall Posted November 1, 2004 I think he means the "Reply" "Quote" "Edit" "NewReply" buttons on postings and the little blue folders in the forum "tree" at the top of the thread pages, and the bluetone icons for "new messages" or "no new messages" on the main forum page. donaldb Posted November 1, 2004 Posted November 1, 2004 Ah. I can't imagine going to the trouble to change out those buttons. They look fine with the few skins that we are using here. I thought about installing a few more style packs, but I couldn't really see a good reason for doing it. Just adds more things that could potentially break
Meta shadow575 Posted November 1, 2004 Meta Posted November 1, 2004 Are those buttons always blue? I can't remember, I changed my color scheme months ago to blue vs green and they look pretty good to me. I thought they were very professional vs amateur. Huh?
