Can I change the category before my site has been reviewed?

Hi,

After reviewing the original category that I listed my web site in, can I change it to the following category as I feel it is more relevant? The category is: Regional: Oceania: Australia: Business and Economy: Shopping: Photography

If I want to change it to the above catergory what should I do?

Also, can I also put it in the following category as well: Regional: Oceania: Australia: New South Wales: Business and Economy: Shopping

Please advise.

Regards

Annie

If you don't ship outside of Australia, then [cat=Regional/Oceania/Australia/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/Photography]Regional: Oceania: Australia: Business and Economy: Shopping: Photography[/cat] would be a better choice than http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Photography/Digital/ . I'm not familar with Australian editing rules, but you might also be listable in [cat=Regional/Oceania/Australia/New_South_Wales/Localities/S/Sydney_CBD/Business_and_Economy/Shopping/]Sydney Shopping[/cat]. You would be eligible for the second category you suggest only if you have multiple offices in NSW.

Please read the forum guidelines

You must wait a minimum of 6 months between status request.

The last status was given on January 9, 2005

I will not answer PM or emails send to me. If you have anything to ask please use the forum.

It would have been May 16 (6 months from post #4) when I said it (in post #6). However, raggedyrugs gave a modified full status again (post #9) on January 9, so you must now wait until July 9. Sorry about the confusion.

Hi,

Thank you for your replies. Goes to show I need to learn to count. Just a quick question, I just read that after May 21 there will be no more status checks. Does that mean I won;t be able to check my status as my next check is July 9?

Yes, that is the logical consequence.

But what's the practical consequence? That is, what will you do differently without the status check than you would have done with it?

And please don't say, "as soon as it's rejected I'll submit again." That is the best reason on earth for NOT telling people the status. But it's the only reason we've ever heard.
