Can I make changes to submission before it's posted?

I submitted a listing under the URL http://www.espritpublications.ca on Oct. 14/04 into the category, Arts:Online Writing:Non-fiction. Since then there are some changes I would like to make to the title and description. It has not been listed yet (I am aware that it takes time and am not questioning that). I wish to know if there is a way to send an updated title and description before the original Oct 14th submission potentially gets accepted and added to this category?

(Also the above URL is currently listed under a different category, Science:Social Sciences:Psychology:Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic:Training and Academic Programs. As our scope changed I asked for it to be removed from this category at the same time as I submitted it to the Arts category above on Oct 14. I mention this to clarify that I am not trying to get two listings for the same URL, but rather to move it from one category to another.)

Best bet is to go to the category where your site is currently listed and submit an Update request. That is the proper procedure to go through. Forget about the new submission you made and concentrate on your update request. Hope this helps.
