zjoker Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 Well like many of you, I too have submitted my application to become an editor many times. However, I live in a small town, so getting rejected comes fairly quickly. I will not give up though, and I feel deep down in my gut as though I could be accepted any day now...or maybe that is gas..either way, on to the irony. As I stated, I live in a small town and actually know the editor in which I have submitted my website on a number of occasions. After once again watching a few joke websites (without rich content) being added to the category, and my website once again being overlooked, I decided that maybe reporting this would help my case. It is a pretty obvious case and I would gladly post my website and the other website in question if it were allowed (not sure it is allowed). I did just that. I reported it and am now awaiting the "powers that be" to rule against me. Here is the irony After my form was complete and sent away to "the powers that be", I receive this message on my screen. Commit Report Thank you for submitting your report. It will be investigated at the earliest possible oppoutunity. To check on its status you can use the widget on the main page in conjunction with this report ID:bunchofnumbershere oppoutunity? Please DO NOT reject my editor applications for grammar until THIS IS CORRECTED! Love Always, zjoker
jimnoble Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 This forum is entitled Becoming an Editor which makes your post way off topic. Nevertheless, I'll respond. I've reported the machine's spelling error. Thanks for pointing it out. I've also looked into the website that's the subject of your abuse report. It's a mirror of another website under the same ownership that's already listed. That's why the one you're complaining about won't be.
zjoker Posted November 17, 2004 Author Posted November 17, 2004 Hello Jim, Thanks for your reply. I've also looked into the website that's the subject of your abuse report. It's a mirror of another website under the same ownership that's already listed. That's why the one you're complaining about won't be. Actually, the website I am referring to is not a mirror site, they are only linked together. It is of the same ownership, but each website holds seperate content. Please notice that when searching real estate you remain on one website. When searching vacation rentals you remain on the other. The real estate site holds no vacation rentals. The vacation rental website holds no real estate. regards, zjoker
jimnoble Posted November 17, 2004 Posted November 17, 2004 I'm told that oppoutunity is now fixed . Thread still well OT so closing.
