rpgdreamers Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 This is going to be a weird request. I applied to be on editor for this sub-category last week: http://dmoz.org/Games/Video_Games/Roleplaying/S/Suikoden_Series/Suikoden_III/ I can't remember the username that I applied under as well as the e-mail I enter. So basically I have no idea whether or not my application was looked at or that my application was responded to. I have a few e-mail and I can check back and forth now and then but I understand that application review may take a few hours to maybe over a month. But I like to change my e-mail addy in which I enter during the application process. How do I do that?
donaldb Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 I can see your application in the queue waiting to be reviewed. You're right about the length of time. And it could take longer. There is no way to tell. You won't be able to change the email address that you used in your application. If you do get approved, you will then be able to change the email address that you want to use.
rpgdreamers Posted February 16, 2003 Author Posted February 16, 2003 Call me ignorant but aren't you a Meta? If so then don't Meta review application status? Can you review my application status? Or is there a particular Meta that I am waiting for to review my application.
motsa Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 In the same way that submitters posting about their site's status won't get their site reviewed faster by an editor checking on it, asking about your application here will not get your editor application reviewed faster.
steveb Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 Applications are usually reviewed by Metas with a knowledge of the category area, not just any old Meta.
donaldb Posted February 16, 2003 Posted February 16, 2003 Good answers <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" /> And both very correct. But not to worry as there are a few Metas who keep an active eye on applications for Games. They tend to get processed quickly when there aren't that many.
