Selecting URLs to submit

Fan a deck of cards and say 'Pick a card, any card'; is it the same when applying for editorship? The preamble requesting appropriate skillsets and the tiebreaker question - fair enough. But the completed URLs? Presumably these should not currently be indexed? Do I trawl the web and see what I can dig up?

Short answer: YES.

 

Just find sites that fit the cat you are applying for, and are not currently listed.

Ok, but I presume that the quality of chosen sites will be incorporated into the editor assessment test. If so, what if the only remaining sites (not ODP indexed) fall short of the mark, if they contain errors and omissions which render them inherently unsuitable for submission?

I dont know any category in ODP where no unlisted but good sites exist. Maybe except very small towns with only 2 sites up-and-running /images/icons/smile.gif

Just do a google - I'm sure it'l show some fitting sites.
