aml Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 http://www.liquidationbiz.biz submitted to http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Opportunities/Education_and_Training/ thank you.
sundancerz Posted December 3, 2004 Posted December 3, 2004 >>why no reply. I'm guessing it's because you have so many sites with different url's but serve the same purpose. You have a few for the "How To Buy & Sell Wholesale Merchandise" example: http://www.liquidation102.com/ and a bunch more for Merchandise Liquidation. I got dizzy looking at them all.
aml Posted December 14, 2004 Author Posted December 14, 2004 I am not asking for any of them to be listed in the directory. LiquidationBiz.biz is where the book is sold, can be ordered or downloaded. It is a site worthy of listing. Thanks
jimnoble Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Your suggestion has been declined. The reason will be found within our Submission Guidelines.
aml Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 I do not see the reason..i have other sites that are similar but I did not submit them, and do not want them in dmoz. I just want the site that sells the book listed. is there anything i can do? thanks
Meta hutcheson Posted December 16, 2004 Meta Posted December 16, 2004 We don't list sites because webmasters want them listed (in fact, we don't even unlist sites because webmasters don't want them listed.) We list them because (in the opinion of the editor, based on a review of their contents), they contribute to the sum of human knowledge of the particular topic. In this case, the editors' [yes, that's a plural] opinion was -- this site didn't. That's fine: it does what you want, and it's your site. There's no point in changing your site's contents to do something you don't want it to do, and there's nothing other than the site's contents that should affect the editors' decisions. The recommendation is (as always) to promote your interests by working with people who share your interests.
