Policy on Request Submission Status

Hello, I submitted two sites back in August and notice they are not listed as of today's date. What is the minimum I should wait before reqeusting an update. And when I do request an update, do I do it to a previous inquiry thread that was posted 30 days after original submission or start a new thread.

Wait a month from most recent submission before asking at all.

Wait 6 months from a status report before asking again.

Keep a series of enquiries about a website to one thread. To do otherwise creates extra work and can be perceived as an attempt to circumvent the above.
