My questions:

1. Are we wasting our time when we submit sites to ODP?

2. Are we wasting our time when we apply to be editors?

I've removed the specifics of your complaint here - they weren't (for the most part) inflammatory but they were inappropriate.

 

If you have a complaint to make about editor abuse, either use the public abuse system or send an email to staff@dmoz.org.

 

Rather than jumping to the conclusion that there are nefarious forces at work just because your suggestions haven't been accepted yet, why don't you ask for a status update in the appropriate forum here (after reading the forum posting guidelines there, of course).

1. No. Even removed editor sites are listable assuming they meet our listing criteria. You won't know the status of your suggestions unless you actually ask (see note above).

 

2. Not sure who the "we" is that you're referring to but for you in particular, yes, you are. Your request to be reinstated has been rejected and that's pretty much that.

I've removed the pointless assertions. There's absolutely no reason why we should tolerate unproven allegations in this unofficial forum paid for by volunteers as a service to the net community at large. Take them somewhere else please.
