Thank you for your time and patience with a first-time poster.
bobrat Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 The main URL is waiting for review in Regional/North_America/United_States/Massachusetts/Regions/Greater_Boston/Business_and_Economy/Restaurants_and_Bars/Guides_and_Directories The other URL's will probably not be listed - one has been reviewed and refused already.
tom22 Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Follow up Question regarding http://www.local-i.com/ Thank you for your reply. Are non-main URLs rejected in most cases, or is it dependent upon specific factors? If I would have submitted to different categories, would my chances for approval have improved? Thanks, once again!
oneeye Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Each case is treated on its merits. You should choose the single category you think your site best fits in, and submit once only. Editors will decide if it is the right category and if they think there is somewhere better they will move it - a site is not rejected for the sole reason of being submitted to the wrong category. Editors will also decide whether the site is suitable for listing of sub-sites/pages that might be ideal fits for other categories, there is no need to submit them yourself.
tom22 Posted December 23, 2004 Author Posted December 23, 2004 Thanks re: http://www.local-i.com/ Status bobrat and oneeye, Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Meta hutcheson Posted December 23, 2004 Meta Posted December 23, 2004 In the editors' guidelines, editors are allowed to add deeplinks "in exceptional cases". Submitters are forbidden to submit them; and we generally treat them like "related sites."
