Change Url Address Status http://macmartrading.owns1.com

From this forum, no, it would not be possible.

If you go to each category it is listed in you can use the 'update url' link to request the change.

Since there is a redirect notice on the old url, I'd expect it to be approved. Don't try to keyword stuff the description in the process.

If you have already done this, please provide clickable links to the categories. (copy and paste the address when viewing the category)

Re change url address

Thank you Gimmster for your advice.

I had already done the url change of address about three weeks ago and it hasn't happened as yet so I thought that this would be the place to ask about the status.

I have re submitted again as per your instructions as I may have done it incorrectly last time.

Once again thank you for your help

Maggie

You're welcome to bump this thread at least a month after the URL update suggestion, and we'll treat it like any other URL suggestion (and check its status.)

As always, site reviews at dmoz.org are not related to status checks. Over there, we tend to give higher priority to update requests.

I don't see an "update url" link on the categories where my sites are listed, so how can I change the old URL with the new URL? It's about

http://directory.google.com

and not dmoz.org .... Do they have an "update url" link for a certain category, or in general?

Google takes copies of dmoz.org - therefore you cannot update in Google - you have to update in dmoz.org; and since Google is always behind in updating [often several months], always look at dmoz.org for the status of your listing, never relay on what Google shows.
