grumngoose Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Hello! I submitted my Vacation rental site to the dmoz directory at the end of September 2004 (through the form on your site)- and also asked that my old site be removed/replaced by my new one to keep the directory up to date. Our vacation property in Ocean City, Maryland has moved, so I created a new page for the new listing- and I wanted to make sure the info gets updated. The original site (which is currently listed) is at: http://www.geocities.com/grumngoose/seascape.htm - I have a pointer on that page pointing to my current site: http://www.geocities.com/seascape_heron/condo.htm The location in DMOZ which I would ask to be updated is: http://www.dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Maryland/Localities/O/Ocean_City/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Vacation_Rentals/Individual_Condominiums I don't know if regional information can really be unique when it comes to "vacation rentals" so I wouldn't think that is an issue- Do you have problems with geocities.com? Thanks!
Meta andysands Posted December 28, 2004 Meta Posted December 28, 2004 Please use the 'update listing' link for that category. Which is here: http://dmoz.org/cgi-bin/update.cgi?where=Regional/North_America/United_States/Maryland/Localities/O/Ocean_City/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Vacation_Rentals/Individual_Condominiums
grumngoose Posted December 28, 2004 Author Posted December 28, 2004 thanks... I have made the change through the update link- but this will be a new address, so I would have thought it was supposed to be entered there. I requested that the original page be removed, and the current address be added. Thanks for your help! Derick Wolf
