leer Posted January 7, 2005 Posted January 7, 2005 The site has been declined due to lack of content. Searches that I just performed always produced no results. We prefer to list sites which have the content available to our users as opposed to sites that are under development.

Actually, the site is finish (yes yes ..) it is similar to http://www.nannyjob.co.uk/ which is registered in dmoz. The site provides service for nannies and famillies to put and read adverts. (no "content", but lots of php/MySQL files inside..) What should I do to be in the open directory project ? If you searched the database of my site, of course, you will not find anything. It is empty because nobody knows about that site. Because, it is not in dmoz. I do not want to put "fake" adds to look good and then be accepted (and get a chance to have "real" people putting their adds).

oneeye Posted January 8, 2005 Posted January 8, 2005 Following up that last added point. We don't accept sites with no content regardless of reasons, and fake ads would make it worse of course. You need to find an alternative form of marketing the site, build it up, then you can resubmit. We aren't a marketing tool for new ventures such as this. Sorry.
