There is no lower limit on the number of edits for the editors and no upper limit to the time an entry waits for review. Every new submission you make overwrites any old submissions that may be in the queue. This means that if an editor sorts the queue by date (which is the default setting), a re-submission will bump your site down to the bottom of the queue.
