My web site - http://www.mihaiu.name was registered in dmoz under:

 

Top: Computers: Programming: Languages: C++: Personal Pages (49)

 

I see that my web page is not registered any more under that category. Why was the page removed ?

Not removed, merely moved to Computers/Programming/Personal_Pages/M/.

You are right. However, if I search for my name ("mihaiu") in dmoz I get the old location of my page. This looks like a bug to me.

Not a bug but a feature.

 

Our search uses the routine data dump and can be a week or so out of date.
