I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, I had a hard drive crash and resubmitted the site. I have since noticed an editor has been to the site. Is there a convenient way to determine under which submission the editor was responding too? I sincerely did not mean to cause any unnecessary work, but after hard drive crash I had to completely redo the site and thought it best to re-submit.

It seems to be unclear from your site which area of the world you serve.

It was moved to Regional/North_America/United_States/Colorado/Localities/L/Loveland/Business_and_Economy to be reviewed there, and see if it is acceptable for that category.

Thank you for such a speedy response. I read the FAQ and Guidelines again. How does this thread move to the new category. I originally submitted under Business, but it appears better placed under Regional. Will this be sorted out automatically or is there work required of me in order to facillitate the move?

CHANGING the above to avoid confusion

It's fine, stay in this thread for future questions about the site. This thread may or not get moved to the other group.

I thank you for your assistance bobrat. It appears that you were correct that the site is better placed in the new location. I should wait here for action to occur, however, it appears that there is not an editor for the new catregory. I will not bump this thread unless given direction from you or another editor since this is not really the category I belong in. If in six months I have not seen anything what should I do? re-submit to the category you indicated or bump this thread?

There are hundreds of editors for every category. Most of them are not listed, and most edits in most categories are done by those unsung editors. For whatever it's worth, average waits for review in local categories are often lower than average elsewhere.

There's never any need to resubmit once a submittal has been received. They don't decay, they wait until an editor looks at them.

In six months you can bump this thread -- we'll give you another status check. (This has nothing to do with editor review of the site for listing.)

I was prepared to wait my scheduled six-months before bumping this thread, however I noticed that my site has been listed in the open directory! My question now is do I delete this thread so that it is not waisting anyones time by causing unnecesary reads or will it be deleted in due time?

Thanks to everyone for their assistance and tolerance.

Appropriate location for post

I was, through the help and assistance of many DMOZ editors et all, able to get my web site listed in the ODP. We recently acquired the domainname ontimemailingservices.com and since that reflects our business name "On Time Mailing Services" we would like to change the URL indicated in the Directory from http://www.ecrlot.com to http://www.ontimemailingservices.com. http://www.ecrlot.com was originally submitted to a business category, but was moved to a regional after initial edit. I have made http://www.ecrlot.com a web-redirect to http://www.ontimemailingservices.com and wish to know where to direct my request to have the URL modified.

Do I make the request here in the current thread? Start a new thread in the regional area?

Thank you for your assistance.

You go to the category you are listed in and click "Update Listing" in the top right part of the window. If there is a redirect from the old URL to the new one it's often a rather quick process :)
