danielp Posted March 6, 2003 Posted March 6, 2003 We have submitted a site for a client: www.chubbexport.com to the category: Business: Industrial Goods and Services: Industrial Supply: Safety Equipment Supplies We originally submitted the site in December, and then waited until February to submit it again. I believe that previously it was submitted to a category below the one stated above - but that category doesn't have an editor. Could this be the reason that the submission hasn't been looked at? If you can help in any way, that would be much appreciated.
Meta kokopeli Posted March 6, 2003 Meta Posted March 6, 2003 You submitted to both Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Industrial_Supply/Safety_Equipment_Supplies/ and Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Industrial_Supply/Safety_Equipment_Supplies/Fire_Protection/ The site appears to be mainly directed at fire protection. You should submit to the one category that most applies to your site. The duplicate in the parent category has been deleted. There is no need to resubmit. Editors in higher categories, as well as editors with higher privledges can edit where no editor is listed. Your site is waiting with under 50 other sites at this time in http://dmoz.org/Business/Industrial_Goods_and_Services/Industrial_Supply/Safety_Equipment_Supplies/Fire_Protection/. If you have not been listed in a month you are still welcome to come back to this forum and use this same thread to inquire again as to status. There is no need to resubmit, your site is still sitting in the queue.
danielp Posted May 2, 2003 Author Posted May 2, 2003 Would it be possible for someone to check the submission status of www.chubbexport.com? Thanks in advance for your help.
uzs980 Posted May 2, 2003 Posted May 2, 2003 Your site is listed since April 18th. You'll find it in Business: Industrial Goods and Services: Industrial Supply: Safety Equipment Supplies: Fire Protection: Fire Extinguishers. The search has not been updated yet, so it can't be found that way yet, but that's usually just a matter of weeks. Yours, Robert
