Guest ralphb Posted March 7, 2003 Posted March 7, 2003 I submitted http://www.bearpark.me.uk to http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/E-mail/Free/Forwarding/ and would be grateful to hear of the status. (This was a long time ago. After a few months waiting I volunteered to be an editor for the category myself, but, of course, was rightly rejected due to "self-promotion" reasons or somesuch). Regards, Ralph.
Guest ralphb Posted March 7, 2003 Posted March 7, 2003 Thanks for the feedback, motsa. Do I get an email when the decision is made? Regards, Ralph.
motsa Posted March 7, 2003 Posted March 7, 2003 Most likely not. Editors rarely notify a submitter to let them know the status of the submission. You can check back here in a month or two to ask about it again, though.
thehelper Posted November 18, 2003 Posted November 18, 2003 Still waiting for review in the category with under 30 other site suggestions.
Guest ralphb Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Thanks for the reply, thehelper. I guess things won't move on while there's no editor for that section. I would volunteer again myself ... but having been rejected once already ...
thehelper Posted November 19, 2003 Posted November 19, 2003 Don't let the rejection thing stop you. You can apply as many times as you want and if you just take some time on your application, follow the directions, and make sure you save a copy of your application before you submit, you can become an editor. How many times you apply before you are accepted does not matter. The important thing is you keep trying, imho.
