UnitrinDirect Posted January 27, 2005 Posted January 27, 2005 I submitted the site http://www.unitrindirect.com/ a little over a month ago to the category http://dmoz.org/Business/Financial_.../United_States/ and was wondering what the status of this URL might be. Thank You, Josh Kidd Unitrin Direct.com

UnitrinDirect Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 Site submission status for www.unitrindirect.com Is there any new information on what i need to do to have this site listed with DMOZ? Thanks, Josh
bobrat Posted January 31, 2005 Posted January 31, 2005 The site was reviewed and does not meet the requirements to be listed. This link provides many, but not all the reasons why sites may be denied a listing. http://dmoz.org/guidelines/include.html#notinclude Also read - Why won't you get into a discussion about why you won't list my site?
UnitrinDirect Posted January 31, 2005 Author Posted January 31, 2005 Site submission status for www.unitrindirect.com Thank you for responding. I took a look at the page you sent me, buti am unclear as to which qualification this website does not meet. I am sure its not a MLM or affiliate site, no mirror page or redirects. Could you point me in the direction of what rule this violates? Also, may i reapply after the problem is addressed? Thanks, Josh
UnitrinDirect Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 still unsure... After reading and re-reading the qualifications information i still cannot see what i need to do to have my site listed could you please point me towards an answer? Thanks, Josh Kidd
spectregunner Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 I'm sorry, but that is not the role of this forum. Sometimes, if it is a minor, easily correctable item editors may leave some broad hints, but in our experience in dealing with tens of thousands of submitters is that such discussions are counterproductive and usually end up with people saying things that they may later regret.
UnitrinDirect Posted February 11, 2005 Author Posted February 11, 2005 thanks for replying Guess I'll be back in 6 months
oneeye Posted February 11, 2005 Posted February 11, 2005 The site was reviewed and does not meet the requirements to be listed. Why are you coming back in 6 months, that statement means it has been rejected. Sorry.
