Application Status - kefkah

Greetings, I applied for the Shopping/Visual Arts/Posters and Prints/On Canvas section on Sunday (kefkah). I know that you are all under a extremely heavy load as of late so I am not expecting anything immediate. What I would like to ask about is the time frame for such things. What is the norm in a perfect world?

Each application is reviewed by an experienced volunteer editor - a meta or a category moderator (catmod). This can take anything from a few hours to several weeks.
