steven Clarke Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 i recently (not sure of exact date) suggested http://www.regroom.co.uk Is there a facility to view websites which are waiting to be reviewed?
uzs980 Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Only editors can view the unreviewed sites. We are ready to do this for you, if your last submission is more than a month ago. But we need to know the category that the site was submitted to; please give a clickable link to it.
steven Clarke Posted February 4, 2005 Author Posted February 4, 2005 website submission if i can remember correctly the category i submitted to was http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Hair_Loss/
uzs980 Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 And was your last submission at least a month ago?
steven Clarke Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 no but is it possible for you to confirm whether this site has been recieved as i have had no email correspondence to confirm successful suggestion. thank you
uzs980 Posted February 6, 2005 Posted February 6, 2005 We don't send automatic e-mails after submissions. So the fact that you didn't receive mail is just normal and shouldn't disturb you. If the submission process on the website worked all right, your submission probably made it to the queue. Please allow us a month after your last submission. If you don't find your site listed then, pop up this thread and we'll have a look at the submission to find out its status.
steven Clarke Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 Thanks for the quick reply. I think it was about two weeks ago so i will be back to you in a fortnight if not reviewed by then. cheers
spectregunner Posted February 7, 2005 Posted February 7, 2005 why not just wait 30 days from today to be sure. We have little patience with early requests.
steven Clarke Posted February 24, 2005 Author Posted February 24, 2005 i notice that you state: 2.Once your submission has been confirmed as received, do not resubmit unless specifically told to do so. this was my initial query-i.e when/how do you confirm it as being recieved.
spectregunner Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 when/how do you confirm it as being recieved We will look for it once 30 days have passed since the most recent submission. Return to this thread at that time and ask. It is a manual process. You ask, we look. If it has been less than 30 days we react poorly.
steven Clarke Posted February 25, 2005 Author Posted February 25, 2005 over 30 days thanks. i am sure it has been over 30 days since submission-just want to know it has been recieved and is in the correct category. again i posted it to: http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Health/Conditions_and_Diseases/Hair_Loss/ sorry for not keeping records only i didnt realise how strict the regime was and dont want to risk submitting it again. (i am new to this)
jimnoble Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 We are strict and sometimes appear to be impatient because so many people don't bother to read the forum guidelines or accidentally disremember the most recent date on which they suggested their website. Information about your website's submission status is not available right now. Do not respond or ask again until 25th March at the earliest and be sure to use this same thread when you do. If you ignore this clear and unambiguous instruction, you too will be ignored .
steven Clarke Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 anything? Is it now possible for you to give me any info on my submission
Alucard Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Received! A submission of this URL has been received in the category you named - thank you very much! it now awaits review by one of our volunteer editors. Thanks for your interest in the project.
