Extracting regional ODP data

I download this day the ODP data from DMOZ french site and push all that in a MySQL database : no problem ! I wanted to extract only french data from the ODP but I could not find any french description in my database (except for categories) !

> Does the ODP data integrate all countries datas ?

> Do you know if there is specific tools to do this job ?

What's the URL? We don't have an official French site, but http://www.aef-dmoz.org is currently maintained by editors. You may find some additional information there, or just go to http://dmoz.org/World/Français/rdf.html [French].

 

If you're looking for data in French only, everything French has World/Français somewhere in the category path. Maybe you can also find something useful under http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Searching/Directories/Open_Directory_Project/Use_of_ODP_Data/

I created French category data - extracted from a standard ODP RDF download that was then placed in a mySQL database.

 

That mySQL database create these pages.

So I'm not sure where you are having a problem.
