Please could I get back in a month to check the status...Please.....I am really stuck without the dmoz listing. Thank you once again. Image
jimnoble Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 If you really want to avoid wasting our time (and yours) better make that six months.
Meta hutcheson Posted February 15, 2005 Meta Posted February 15, 2005 If you are stuck without the listing, then ... save your effort, save your energy, save your money, and shut the site down now. It's walking dead. An ODP listing is not predictable: and even if we were to let you ask about the site twice daily in these forums, that would not get an actual review done faster (it might actually slow it down.) If you need promotional services now, you need to find someone who offers promotional services now. The ODP doesn't. But ... if you support your site with the necessary promotional and developmental work to build it into something that is self-sustaining and uniquely informative, then, in six or nine or umpty-nine months -- some ODP editor will be grateful for your suggesting your site, and will list it (not as a service to you, but as a service to the surfers whom your information might help.)
