Guest menshelp Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 We have submitted our site for review and inclusion. We have not received any notification and are wondering the status. Admin
Meta mcoupal Posted March 18, 2003 Meta Posted March 18, 2003 We will need a clickable link to the actual category. Thanks! Curlie: Been trying to give up the editing addiction since day 1. :moz:
dfy Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 We'll need to know where you submitted it. If you submitted it to one of the Adult categories, you'll need to ask a moderator to move this thread to the Adult forum. There's a list of moderators at the bottom left of this page.
Guest menshelp Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 The submitted cat was http://dmoz.org/Health/Men's_Health/Procedures/Penis_Enlargement/
Guest menshelp Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 We have also sent an email to the editor concerning our site. However, we have not heard anything.
dfy Posted March 18, 2003 Posted March 18, 2003 I see the site there in the queue, however it shows as having been submitted 5th March 2003. Please leave at at least a month before asking about submission status.
Guest menshelp Posted April 6, 2003 Posted April 6, 2003 It has been one month now, and still no input from the cat editor. Any clues as to yes/no concerning our site?
Meta tuisp Posted April 6, 2003 Meta Posted April 6, 2003 Still in the queue, which is less than 100. BTW, the category editor is under no obligation to answer you. Actually, in many cases, editors avoid to enter discussions with submitters.
Guest menshelp Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 Well, then..let's see. It's been more than the accepted length of time for approval and/or regection. In fact, in looking at the category editors last update it was March 18! Can somebody higher up the ODP food chain perhaps "prod" the carcass to see if it's still breathing?
motsa Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 >>It's been more than the accepted length of time for approval and/or regection. No such thing as an "accepted length of time" for review. Could take minutes; could take years. >>Can somebody higher up the ODP food chain perhaps "prod" the carcass to see if it's still breathing? If you're asking someone to kickstart the listed editor into editing, no can do. Editors are able to do as little or as much editing as they want without pressure to do more. If you're asking someone to go in there and review it now, that's not the purpose of this forum. You can, however, ask for an update on the status of your submission -- that would be that your site is still waiting for review in that category and will be reviewed whenever someone gets inspired enough to tackle the category.
