Hello, I have completely redone my site and have resmitted on 2/19/03. Would you please status my requested listing of www.retirement-4-u.com in Home/PersonalFinance/Retirement. Thank you.

Haven't you read the submission notice for Home: Personal Finance: Retirement? "If your site promotes a business or service, please do not submit to this category, as your site will not be accepted. If

your site is promoting a business please submit to a site within one of the Top:Business categories."

Your submission was moved to Business: Investing: Retirement Planning where it is now waiting for review along with more than a hundred other sites. Your site will be reviewed, but we don't know when. You may come back to this thread to ask again after one or - maybe better - two months.

Yours,

Robert

Robert and all,

Thank you for checking on the status of retirement-4-u.com. Unfortunately, I am now more confused than ever. I had originally submitted to /Business/Investing/Retirement_Planning/ where the editor (Scott Carr) had sent my listing over to /Home/Personal_Finance/Retirement/. I sent a email to the editor for further explanation but did not get a response. Adding to the mix is Mr. Carr has a competitive web site www.savewealth.com which is making me think my site is not being reviewed fairly. But to go back to your original question, yes, I had reviewed the submission notice and it didn’t seem like I should be submitting either. Sorry if this sounds like I am complaining, but I have been trying to get listed in ODP for over a year now and it seems like I am getting nowhere. Please don’t let my note take away from the good work this forum provides and additional hours editors spend trying to help. I am just trying to do the right thing and get listed.

Sincerely,

Steve Carkeek

According to our logs, it doesn't seem that http://www.retirement-4-u.com/ was ever moved from Business: Investing: Retirement Planning to Home: Personal Finance: Retirement.

Thank you for your information. Since Scott Carr no longer is an editor it seems like it would be unnecessary to follow up with any perceived abuse problems. Rather, I want to keep my focus on the good work and values of the ODP and it’s volunteer staff of hard workers who keep those values of “how and why” the Internet was established and the values it holds. Hopefully, my site will get do consideration and be listed soon. Thank you again for your time and your professionalism. Keep up the good work.
