Guest gazibidian Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 Hello, I have a site http://www.maikadesigns.com listed at the following regional category: http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Hawaii/Oahu/Localities/Honolulu/Business_and_Economy/Internet/ We are a web design firm so also do work for companies outside of Hawaii. What is the proper way to request being submitted into an additional category? I wrote an editor of this category: http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Designers/Full_Service/M/ Is this the correct method to do this? Thanks for any help you can give and have a great day Aloha, Paul Manfredi Maikai Designs Administrator
lachenm Posted March 21, 2003 Posted March 21, 2003 Hi. No, the correct way is to go to the category where you think your site belongs and use the "Add URL" link at the top of the page, just like you did for the original listing. The Regional/ listing in no way affects your eligiblity (or the method of applying) for a listing in a Topical category. Editors generally don't respond to feedback messages, so you would have no way of knowing whether your site was added to the unreviewed queue unless you add it yourself.
