Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Please, could you verify the status of my page ? It passed 5 month since I have been trying to get it listed in DMOZ. Thank you very much Alex Alfaintercom
motsa Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 I think I'm safe in saying that none of the deeplinks to http://www.alfaorg.com are listable. Every single section consists of nothing but affiliate links and as such are not listable.
Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Could you tell me were is the affiliate program in page http://www.alfaorg.com/international This is an original Phone company offering international Long Distance Service http://www.alfaorg.com/international/ alfaintercom
motsa Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 You're kidding, right? OK, so there aren't any affiliate links on that exact page but http://www.alfaorg.com/usa/ for example contains nothing but affiliate links to actual long distance providers. I still don't see any listable content.
Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 I am not talking about that page. I am talking about http://www.alfaorg.com/international And I am not kidding at all. Could you tell me what other company offers the programs from Alfaintercom http://www.alfaorg.com/international Do a search please and let me know if you find something.
Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 By the way. Take a look at http://dmoz.org/Business/Telecommunications/Communications_Providers/Long_Distance_Calling/ ABC Long Distance - affiliate program 1 Best Rate Long Distance affiliate At least my page http://www.alfaorg.com/international even if it has some affiliate links it offers original Long Distance Service. "Don't submit sites consisting largely of affiliate links. " All the services in the page are offered by Alfaintercom and it has links to some affiliate programs for comparison.
Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 The whole alfaorg.com site consists of sections filled with affiliate links, or selling affiliate services. We do list sites, not pages. As it is now, the site doesn't offer enough unique and non-affiliate content to be listed. As for the other sites you pointed out, we will evaluate and remove them if their primary content actually consists of affiliate links/services.
Guest Posted March 25, 2003 Posted March 25, 2003 Thanks It is not fair. There are not more than 15 Long distance providers on the net but DMOZ has listed tens. Most of them are affiliate links in a way or another.
