Guest Monot Posted March 27, 2003 Posted March 27, 2003 Could you please inform me of the status of : MonotStreet.com . submitted under http://dmoz.org/Regional/Middle_East/Lebanon/Beirut/ The submission might still be under a month old but I faced terrible timeouts on dmoz and I am afraid to have submitted reptedly and become considered as Spam and rejected. Furthermore the category didn't seem to have an editor. Hope I didn't break any guidelines ! Thanks a lot

Don't worry about this, our spam filter is easily triggered and we won't hold it against you. It's half way through the sorting process right now, and it will soon be moved to the correct category. There's no need for you to do anything more. Please wait at least a month before enquiring again (in this thread).

There have been technical problems at the ODP recently that make editing large categories very difficult. New servers are on the way, and we expect that our ability to work with large numbers of submissions will dramatically improve once they are installed. I'm afraid I have to ask you to be patient with us over the next few weeks.

But we can't ever tell you how long it will take for some other volunteer to do something.
