Change of www<dot>pivotal-systems<dot>com

 

Hi, I submitted my site approx 9 months ago and is still awaiting review (i think). However, since then we've had a re-shuffle of our domains and the url to our site requires changing.

 

We sumbitted our site to this category:

http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Business/Investing/

 

and the url to our site was:

http://www<dot>pivotal-systems<dot>com/

 

I would like to change the url of our domain to

http://optivest<dot>pivotal-systems<dot>com/

Optivest is just a product provided by Pivotal Systems and as such won't be listed. Such a "site" is seen as a deeplink by us.

http://www.pivotal-systems.com/ is the url we will list (if it complies to all our other guidelines)

Would it be listed if it were in this category instead:

http://dmoz.org/Home/Personal_Finance/Software/

 

To be honest I think it could go in either category, but I see in the above category there are a number of other similar products listed to ours. The trouble is, we have a diverse range of products / services - we don't just make stock market software, so would it not be beneficial to list each of our different products in different categories so that the listings in the directory are more relevant? All our products all have separate sub domains so I wouldn't have multiple links to one domain.

 

The trouble is, our other products have nothing in common with stock market software, so listing our main http://www<dot>pivotal-systems<dot>com domain under this category would be missleading and I don't think the pivotal-systems.com url would make it into your directory under the heading http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Business/Investing/ - which was why I requesting the change of url.

 

What do you think? Please advise...
