Guest erikvlie Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Hi, I submitted my site, http://www.it-enquirer.com, some 4 to 5 months ago. Until at least two months ago, it was listed in the Directory under News/By Subject/Information Technology/Computers/. Today, when I checked again, the site wasn't listed anymore. I have searched the entire directory for the URL and the name of the site (IT-Enquirer), but it's no longer there. Is there a limit on the time a site remains listed, i.e. does one have to re-submit every 4 months for example, or has something happened causing my site to disappear from the directory?
motsa Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 Actually, it hasn't been listed since October (5 months ago). From what I can see of the site, you're not really a news site. I mean, you've got tutorials and book, software, and hardware reviews...but I don't really see much that I would classify as "news". I'd recommend you look for a more appropriate place under Computers and resubmit there.
Guest erikvlie Posted July 7, 2003 Posted July 7, 2003 Hello, Hopefully this thread is still followed up... After having submitted http://www.IT-Enquirer.com to the e-zine category some 6 weeks ago again--making the same error as before <sorry>, I have just re-submitted the site to this category: http://editors.dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Graphics/FAQs,_Help_and_Tutorials I don't know for sure if this is the best category to submit to, but I suspect it is. If anyone here has the time, please check if I'm in the right place. If I am, I assume I'm in a long queue of sites waiting to be approved/refused? Thanks for the help, Erik
