We don't do search engines, only the directory. If you can find it by looking in the category, thats all we care about. (That's including our own search, it's not important)

Dead Links

What will happen with all the dead links that link to my site? Will they eventully be replaced? I thought I was already put into the directory but my old site was still there how long does it usually take to replace the url? Thank you for your timely responses.

Doing a lot of guessing about what you mean

I'm assuming you mean http://www.nrnilstormlab.com and I'm assuming it's permanently dead.

You should have pointed that URL to your new site and/or done a 301 redirect - then you would not have a problem - but any discussion of that is outside the scope of this forum.

Any copy of ODP data that is out of date and has your old URL is not under our control, some may update soon, others may never update.

If you are talking about the ODP search - it's out of date - and I have no idea about when it will update - but is has no real impact outside of ODP itself.

Greg, the dmoz search link that you posted states at the bottom that is was last updated December 17, 2004. Your URL change has been since then, so as bobrat said search is out of date. However, in the actual category where your site is listed, it links to the new URL. That is the only part we have any control over. There is nothing more we can do. Sorry.
