Dave_in_the_UK Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 Hello, Please can you help. I submitted http://ebaycounters.com for inclusion in the http://dmoz.org/Computers/Software/Internet/Servers/Shopping/Auctions/Assistance/Web_Based/ category in February (I think it was). I needed to change the description to reflect significant new additions to the software but when I went to edit the entry I noticed it had not been added yet. Assuming my original request had been lost I re-submitted the entry with the new, updated, description. This site is still not listed in the above category. I've only just found this forum and I am wondering if you can advise me on the current status of my request. Thanks for your time, Dave.
Dave_in_the_UK Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Thanks for the quick response. Emm...so when will information be available? I submitted this site over 2 months ago and it still hasn't been listed yet. What can I do to expedite the listing of my site? Thanks, Dave.
spectregunner Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 No information is available because it is within 30 days of your most recent resubmission. That is the critical date for us, not when it was originally submitted. Once 30 days have passed, we can have a more detailed discussion with you, simpy come back to this thread (do not start a new thread) and tell us that the 30 days have passed. At that point we will take a look and advise you if your submission was safely received. It is simply a matter of timing.
Dave_in_the_UK Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 In which case please can you tell me when the 30 days are due to expire since I have no idea (it predated my discovery of this forum by several weeks) - there is nothing on your site to remind of the date I submitted the request. Thanks, Dave.
bobrat Posted April 14, 2005 Posted April 14, 2005 It happens that the 30 days have in fact passed - you submitted it Mar 02 -and the site was reviewed recently. Allow several days for it to appear and do not rely on search to find it.
Dave_in_the_UK Posted April 14, 2005 Author Posted April 14, 2005 Many thanks for your time - it's much appreciated.
