Guest pat2002 Posted April 1, 2003 Posted April 1, 2003 Hello editors, I am inquiring about my submission to the dmoz cat: http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Photography/Stock/Royalty_Free/ The first submission is about a year old and I have re-submitted once since. My url is: http://www.epictura.com Could someone suggest the best option: Submit to another category or wait until it is accepted? This category had no editor before and I just noticed that it has one now. It is probably recent. Would that speed things up for me? Thanks for any suggestion. Patrice.
Meta kokopeli Posted April 1, 2003 Meta Posted April 1, 2003 There is no way to gage the time it takes for a site to be reviewed based on whether or not there is an editor listed. Some editors are more active than others, and there is always someone who can access a cat even if there is no editor listed. Submitting to another category isn't usually an option because the site should be submitted to the one best category. The exception to that is another listing in regional if the site qualifies. Your submission is currently waiting in a queue of around 75 sites. Do not resubmit again, if the editor sorts sites by submission date resubmitting sends your site to the end of the line as it rewrites your original submission. Your submission date in this category is 21/Oct/2002.
