Is there any indication as to how long it will take for my site to be listed/reviewed?

I put in the request months ago and I am waiting patiently

Also, sections of my site apply to other categories within DMOZ. Is it ok to submit other sections of my site to the other areas within DMOZ?

Thank you so much for your reply and I appreciate your help.

Since all editors are doing their work on a voluntary basis, noone is forced to do a minimum amount of work.

So: No, there is no timeframe. Not even a wild guess. May be some days, may be some years.

To answer your second question, no, don't submit sections of your site elsewhere. Looking at your site, I can't see any part of it that would warrant listing anywhere but where you're already waiting.

Thank you all for your replies. I feel somewhat better knowing that my submission was received and is waiting to be reviewed.

I wish I could speed it along... but I do understand. If there is anything anyone can do to help-I would appreciate it.

Thanks again,

Re: Number in Queue : http://www.chandlerscatalog.

Even if I said that there is a single site waiting, it still wouldn't accurately forecast how long it would be before that site got reviewed. Unfortunately for you, that category plus its subcategories adds up to a lot more than a single waiting site.

Thanks for reply.

I am trying to remain patient. I realize that you all work for free and appreciate your efforts. I just know how much better I will do with search results once I get listed by you guys

I have been waiting quite a few months and was just looking for a little time frame, which I already knew you couldn't give me (so I shouldn't have asked - but it was worth a try). Can you tell me the date you received my submission?

Thanks again,

To answer the question you posed in the other thread, your submission was received the day you sent it. The submission is dated Dec. 7, 2002.

Please feel free to check your site's status again after at least a month. When you do, please reuse this thread instead of starting a new one.
