SRWaksman Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I am interested in knowing the status of http://www.architecturalstockphotos.com, submitted I think in early February, to http://dmoz.org/Business/Arts_and_Entertainment/Photography/Stock/Royalty_Free/ http://www.architecturalstockphotos.com is the source for $5.95, digital, architectural, royalty-free, stock photos. Thank You!
spectregunner Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I know nothing about architecture, nor your site, but how can there be a price on a royalty free photo? Isn't that sorta like Free Advice, $5 ?
bekahm Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 Royalty free doesn't mean "free as in beer." As the cat description in question says: "stock imagery available for purchase, for unlimited use" It's the kind of weird terminology that people in the businesss accept without question, but makes no sense to outsiders
SRWaksman Posted April 4, 2005 Author Posted April 4, 2005 www.architecturalstockphotos.com In the photography world, royalty-free pricing is a single fee to buy the use of the photo and is not based on a not the specific use. Also, you do not have to pay additional fees for each additional use.
Meta nea Posted April 4, 2005 Meta Posted April 4, 2005 The site is waiting for review in that category. Thanks! Curlie Meta and kMeta editor nea
SRWaksman Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 www.ArchitecturalStockPhotos.com Are there any other categories that would be appropriate for listing under?
bobrat Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 It would appear that is the single best category - except perhaps when reviewed the editor might put it in the subcategory Specialized
SRWaksman Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 www.ArchitecturalStockPhotos.com Thank you.
