Guest dccb79 Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 To who it may concern. Can you please check the status of my application. http://dmoz.org/Regional/Asia/Singapore/Business_and_Economy/Employment/Recruitment_Agencies/ There are a lot of employment agencies sites that are not listed here and there is no editor for this category.
donaldb Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 I'm not seeing any applications for that category. Did you receive the confirmation email after you submitted your application?
Guest dccb79 Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Yes. I do receive a confirmation email from ODP. What should I do next?
donaldb Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 I should have asked this before. Did you reply to that confirmation email? You must reply to the confirmation email so that your application will be moved into the queue. That email confirms to us that you submitted an application using a valid email address and that you are the person who submitted the application.
Guest dccb79 Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Yes, I did reply to that confirmation email and it said "Thanks for applying to become an editor! You will receive a reply as soon as your application has been reviewed." So what should I do next? Should I apply again?
Meta icxcnika Posted April 4, 2003 Meta Posted April 4, 2003 Whatever you did, it worked. Your application is in the queue now. Curlie volunteer meta editor icxcnika
Guest dccb79 Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 It had been almost a month. Can I know the status of my application?
donaldb Posted April 29, 2003 Posted April 29, 2003 I'm not seeing any application in the queue now so I'm assuming that it was rejected. Sorry, but I as we don't keep records for rejected applications I don't know why it was rejected. I assume that you didn't get a rejection notice. If you're using your Hotmail account, you might want to check in the Spam folder to make sure the reject notice isn't in there. All I can say is to maybe apply again. Make sure you read everything in the first post in this forum titled FAQ and General Advice before you apply.
