Guest lawrie Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Hi, I am in the process of applying to be an editor of a small regional (business) category, but I am unclear about the purpose of the sample urls. Are my choices simply to indicate an ability to pick a good site? Or must the sites also fit into the 'region' or 'business' aspect of that category...or both? any advice appreciated lawrie
totalxsive Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Both. Part of your job as being an editor is to go out and find sites that would fit in that category (not just wait for them to be submitted), so the sample URLs demonstrate how well you can do that.
jimnoble Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 "the sample URLs demonstrate how well you can do that." ... and also how well you can write descriptions for them .
totalxsive Posted April 3, 2003 Posted April 3, 2003 Uh, yeah, that as well . Ooops.
