Status of http://www.readersrefuge.com

Hello

How are you? I would like to know the status of my website - http://www.readersrefuge.com

The category I submitted it under is: http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Publications/Books/General_Interest/R/

I've submitted it twice on the 26 Nov 02 & 6 Jan 03. One problem could be that my .com site redirects to the .au site. I wanted the .au site listed (www.readersrefuge.com.au) but didn't want to resubmit when I realised my mistake as I thought you might consider that spamming.

Any information you can give me would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your time and effort. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Enjoy your day.

Kind regards

Renee

Thanks for your prompt reply too - I will only use this thread from now on as well - slowly getting the hang of it!

Does 'handful' mean over 50 or am I lucky to be in a queue of less than that?

I applied to become an editor in the category but didn't get accepted as the category was too big. I'll have to try a smaller one I suppose.

To me it means I can count them using one hand (or two hands maybe)

But please note, that this is not necessarily related to the time-to-review. That depends on so many factors, that we are unable even to give an educated guess. May be from 5 minutes to several years - mostly depends on the amount of editor activity in that region which is not predictable.

Thanks again for your reply.

I've been waiting for 4 months so I can wait a bit more. I understand the difficulties in predicting when it will be reviewed. I'll just keep on being patient but I will probably check again in another month's time or so.

Bye for now.

Hello

How are you?

It's been another month since my last message and no listing as yet. Just thought I'd check again to see if our site has progressed in the 'handful-of-sites' queue!

Thanks for your time.

Hi again

I was just wondering if I could get an update on how my site is progressing in its queue? Has it managed to get any further yet ? Thanks for your time.

Hello again

Another month has passed by and still no luck... awww.

So I'm coming back to you again to see how my site is progressing in its submission queue .

I did notice, however, that an editor visited the site last month (June 03). If you want the link they came from, please let me know and I'll post it. Did they review and reject it? Any info you can give me is much appreciated.

Fingers crossed. Bye for now.

Kind regards

Renee

Hi again

Just doing my month site-status check ;)! Any news as yet? I did notice that we had another editor visit the site in August but no news regarding that.

Thanks for your time and assistance.

Kind regards

Renee

Listed on Aug 6 in Shopping/Publications/Books/General_Interest/R/ :) As you may have seen in other threads, the public pages are not updating at the moment; however, your site is now in the data base which means that at the next update it will be visible. And any downstream data users, such as Google, already get the updated data base if and when they update.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (can you tell I'm happy ;)). I'm so glad the wait is over and I'd like to thank ALL the editors who have been so patient and helpful to me during this time - especially Kokopelli! I really appreciate it. Enjoy your day!
