It was submitted to http://dmoz.org/Society/Law/Services/Paralegal_Services/Family_Law/ around January. If it was reviewed, and rejected I would appreciate some insight into what I can do, if anything. Thanks in advance !

I also looked in http://dmoz.org/Society/Law/Services/Paralegal_Services/ and did not find it there either. If that is definately where you submitted, it appears there was an error. I would go ahead and resubmit.

About a month ago I submitted to http://dmoz.org/Society/Relationships/Divorce/ since there was an editor listed there. I have read that you aren't supposed to submit to different categories but I figured that since it had been a couple of months it would be okay. I hope I didn't get banned or anything. If anyone has time can you please check this category as well? Thanks again.

The site should be submitted to the one best place, and not to several. This really isn't my area and I only had a moment here to look, but it appears to me that you are offering services and the first category mentioned is a better fit. Regardless, Society/Relationships/Divorce also does not show http://www.helpyourselfdivorce.com in the queue. Are you sure it was ODP you submitted to? I would resubmit to the one most appropriate place.
