hoperd Posted April 21, 2005 Posted April 21, 2005 I'm wondering about the status of http://www.washingtonplantation.com, submitted more than one month ago to category Regional: North America: United States: Georgia: Localities: W: Washington: Travel and Tourism: Lodging: Bed and Breakfast (2). Thanks, Tom Chase

hoperd Posted April 21, 2005 Author Posted April 21, 2005 www.washingtonplantation.com Thanks for the quick reply. My only problem is that I don't know how to do that. Could it be http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Georgia/Localities/W/Washington/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Bed_and_Breakfast/ ? That's what happens when I cut and paste from the address line. Sorry for my confusion. Tom Chase http://www.washingtonplantation.com
Meta hutcheson Posted April 21, 2005 Meta Posted April 21, 2005 It could indeed. The submittal is waiting for review there.
hoperd Posted April 21, 2005 Author Posted April 21, 2005 Thanks Thanks for the fast reply. Now it's waiting time. By the way, Maynard's Manor, listed in the same category, http://dmoz.org/Regional/North_America/United_States/Georgia/Localities/W/Washington/Travel_and_Tourism/Lodging/Bed_and_Breakfast/ , is no longer an active bed and breakfast. Yours, Tom Chase
Meta hutcheson Posted April 21, 2005 Meta Posted April 21, 2005 Thanks for the tip. The website still claims to be so. What is it now, and how can we verify that independently?
hoperd Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 Maynard's Manor The place is not operating and is up for sale. Louise and Ross Maynard, the owners, closed the place last year. They tell me that there is no way they can figure out to reach http://www.kudcom.com to cancel the site! They haven't paid them in over two years, yet the site still exists! The contact information on the site is still good, I think, so you can confirm this with the Maynards, should you so choose. Yours, Tom Chase http://www.washingtonplantation.com
