Guest timgepp Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Late last year I made 2 separate submissions for 2 different product areas in my website. Could you please status? http://www.bouldereng.com/marine.htm for category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Vehicles/Watercraft/Parts_and_Accessories/ and http://www.bouldereng.com/quiklube.htm for category http://dmoz.org/Shopping/Tools/Vehicle_Repair/ Thank you! -Tim
Meta kokopeli Posted April 8, 2003 Meta Posted April 8, 2003 Your site won't be listed under several deeplinks, rather it belongs under the root url of http://www.bouldereng.com in the one most appropriate category. In addition, I looked at several product areas within the deeplinks and it doesn't appear to qualify as a shopping listing. To qualify in shopping the site must contain products, prices and a way to order them. What I am seeing is: "For availability and pricing, please contact:" etc. I would suggest looking at http://dmoz.org/Business/Consumer_Goods_and_Services/ and finding the most appropriate category to submit the root url to.
Guest timgepp Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Lin, Thanks for the fast response. I found an excellent category for the swim platforms in the Goods and Services category. I submitted the root, and we will see what happens! Thanks again for your help! -Tim
motsa Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 I think she meant to submit the root URL to a category that fit your business, not a single product, since you're only going to get listed in one category.
