Iuspatex Posted April 24, 2005 Posted April 24, 2005 Hello, I want to know the status of the site http://www.english-spanish-translations.com/ suggested in http://dmoz.org/Business/Business_Services/Communications/Translation/Single_Language/English_and_Spanish/ about one year ago. Please don`t tell me to ask again in 6 months Thanks G
Editall/Catmv arubin Posted April 25, 2005 Editall/Catmv Posted April 25, 2005 http://resource-zone.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=34662 Ask again there 6 months after your status report there. (That would be about 5 months from now. )
Iuspatex Posted April 25, 2005 Author Posted April 25, 2005 Is is one year and a half that I submited.... and sites that have less than one year online appear on that category... I don`t understand what happen with this submission... I know that I have to wait, but this time I don`t understand what`s going on...
spectregunner Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 What is going on is that editors do not review sites in any particular order. There is no line or queue. Some sites get reviewed quickly, other not. No malice, no abuse, just no predictable order. Your site, the last time we checked, was waiting review. It may wait for 10 more minutes, it may wait for 3 more years.
Iuspatex Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Okey At least I hope that it is not more than 3 years... best regards .
Meta hutcheson Posted April 26, 2005 Meta Posted April 26, 2005 >and sites that have less than one year online appear on that category When an editor is picking which site to review, we have no way of knowing how long the site's been online. We don't even know when it was first submitted. (Of course, even if we knew we wouldn't have cared.)
Iuspatex Posted April 27, 2005 Author Posted April 27, 2005 Don`t you think it willl be better to review by the date you recive the submission ? It will be more fare for everydobdy...
